I believe the game is of balance.In our real life also we have to maintain balance same is with Business and ethics.Some time priority shifts to business and some time your ethics become more important.

Honestly,

If I LIKE the person / company I am doing business with, then they get my business. If I don't, then I'll find reasons not to do business with them. Nice people do not finish last.

The above is encapsulated in modern business practice - brand building, models such as Balance Scorecard (see clickok.org ) etc etc etc.

So yes, ethics has a place.
