Tough economic periods can be regarded as the best of times for starting a home-based business in your home. Especially Online Businesses. You cannot get fired or laid off, if you are your own boss. What is the best part about operation of such businesses is that they will be functionable from your home. Again, inexpensive instruments are also not desired.
So guys share with us, what is actually required in online homebased business. |

I think the business should have a steady source of income more than anything else. I mean that would help you in getting the edge, which you require for making an impact. People look for short term lucrative profit. However, they should concentrate on long term benefits in case, they are looking forward to have a stable source of income.

Steady source of income and the scope of fetching more and more revenue. In case, you do not find the improvement factor in the business, there is no use of going to the business. Rather, you would be served better to do a regular job.

Hi Ronald,
I believe that customers are the Number One requirement for any business. Without them, your business will flounder. As Abhi and Jamie have commented - a steady source of income is imperative. You should also look for something that won't take up too much of your time - something that works whether you are there or not - sort of like on auto-pilot. If your customers are looked after for you by the company that you're associated with, then this frees you up for looking at expanding your business in other areas. You need to know what sort of return you can expect BEFORE you even start your business. If the business you're considering has been around long enough, there will be available data on what sort of returns others have experienced. Of course, past performance is never a guarantee of any future performance - and this holds true for EVERY business in the world. However, you need to have some idea of what to expect. Cheers, Bernard
